We are now seeking a number of Learning Coaches across the South Thames Colleges Group. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to begin a career in education, especially for those who are recent graduates and looking to become a Teacher.
Experience is not essential – all that we ask is that you are educated to GCSE/Level 2 or equivalent with grades A*-C in English and Mathematics or are prepared to study towards achieving this level. You will demonstrate the ability to use initiative, organise and prioritise and be able to communicate well at all levels. We would also like you to have good administration skills, to allow you to keep high quality written records of learner progress and set appropriate smart targets based on EHCP outcomes, agreed support plans and coursework.
Closing date for the return of a complete online application is 4th June 2023.
The benefits package includes generous annual leave plus up to 7 additional days over Christmas/New Year as well as an additional 5 days Wellbeing leave to enhance employees’ physical and mental health. This leave is all in addition to Bank Holiday entitlement. There is an excellent pension scheme that receives a significant financial contribution from the employer (Teachers Pensions or Local Government Pension Scheme), subsidised sports facilities and professional development and training plus a salary sacrifice cycle to work scheme. The benefits package will be pro-rata for part time vacancies.
